This blouse began in a small thrift store in Bologna — a beautiful mid-weight lace tablecloth, folded carefully as if waiting. It travelled from Bologna to a small studio in east Berlin, where it was cut and sewn by hand into this one-of-a-kind blouse.

Mid-weight lace has a presence to it — more substantial than sheer, with a quiet confidence in the way it moves and falls. Long sleeves and a boxy silhouette make it effortlessly versatile, as easy to dress up as it is to throw on with jeans.

Wear it tucked loosely into a midi skirt for an evening out. Pair it with wide-leg linen trousers and flat sandals for a slow Sunday. Layer it under a blazer for something a little more considered.

Because it is made from a single piece of rescued lace, only one exists. When it's gone, it's gone.
