Beth Blouse - Lace Swirls

Some pieces have a life before they become yours.

This blouse began on a market stall at a flea market in Rome — a large cotton tablecloth combining intricate lace and hand embroidery, the swirling pattern drawing the eye immediately. It travelled from Rome to a small studio in east Berlin, where it was cut and sewn by hand into this one-of-a-kind blouse.

The combination of lace and embroidery gives this piece a richness that is hard to find in anything made today. Pure cotton makes it breathable and light despite the detail. Long sleeves give it versatility across the seasons.

Wear it over a simple camisole for a warm evening out. Layer it under a linen blazer for something more put-together. Pack it for a summer trip and let it carry you from day to night.

Because it is made from a single piece of rescued vintage textile, only one exists. When it's gone, it's gone.
