Beth Blouse - Pink Cross Stitch

Some pieces have a life before they become yours.

This blouse began on a market stall at a flea market in Rome — a round cotton tablecloth combining delicate pink cross stitch embroidery with lace, the kind of piece made with real patience and care. It travelled from Rome to a small studio in east Berlin, where it was cut and sewn by hand into this one-of-a-kind blouse.

Cross stitch embroidery has a handmade quality that is entirely its own — each stitch placed deliberately, the pattern building slowly over time. The soft pink tones are gentle and wearable, sitting beautifully against both warm and cool skin tones. Pure cotton and short sleeves make it perfect for warmer days.

Wear it with white wide-leg trousers and sandals. Style it over a simple slip dress. Tuck it into a high-waisted skirt and let the embroidery carry the look.

Because it is made from a single piece of rescued vintage textile, only one exists. When it's gone, it's gone.
