This vest began as vintage towel sourced in Italy — decorated with colourful floral applique, the kind of handwork that takes time and care and results in something genuinely joyful. They travelled from Italy to a small studio in east Berlin where they were cut and sewn by hand into this one-of-a-kind vest.

The floral applique is what makes this piece impossible to ignore — bursts of colour against the natural cotton, each flower placed by hand. It is the kind of detail that makes people smile before they even know why. The boxy silhouette and tie front keep the overall look relaxed and effortless.
