Some pieces have a life before they become yours.
This vest began as vintage linen towels sourced in Italy — each one finished with an intricate knotted macrame tassel trim, the kind of detail that takes real time and skill to create. They travelled from Italy to a small studio in east Berlin where they were cut and sewn by hand into this one-of-a-kind vest.
Macrame trim has a texture and presence that is entirely its own — the knotted tassels catch the light and move beautifully as you walk. Against the weight of the vintage linen, the effect is both relaxed and considered. The boxy silhouette and tie front keep it effortless to wear.
Wear it over a white blouse and wide-leg trousers for an easy summer look. Layer it over a swimsuit on a warm day by the water. Style it with a simple midi skirt and sandals for a long slow afternoon.
Because it is made from rescued vintage linen towels, only one exists. When it's gone, it's gone.
