Beth Blouse - Roma Lace

Some pieces have a life before they become yours.

This blouse began on a market stall at a flea market in Rome — a large, intricate cotton lace tablecloth found among the stalls, its detail too beautiful to leave behind. It travelled from Rome to a small studio in east Berlin, where it was cut and sewn by hand into this one-of-a-kind blouse.

The lace is pure cotton — lightweight, breathable and genuinely lovely against the skin. Long sleeves make it as easy to wear on a warm evening as it is layered over something simple on a cooler day. The boxy cut means it works true to size for a relaxed fit, or sized up for something more effortless.

Wear it with wide-leg trousers and sandals for a long lunch. Layer it over a slip dress as the evening cools. Pack it in your carry-on and let it do the work all holiday.

Because it is made from a single piece of rescued lace, only one exists. When it's gone, it's gone.
